The goal of our curriculum is to provide developmentally appropriate experiences in which children can learn about themselves, others, and the world with the support of respectful and responsive adults. The environment encourages exploration, experimentation, individualism and discovery while supporting emergent literacy and math skills, science, music and art. Parents participate in two parent/teacher conferences throughout the year but easily connect with the teachers anytime.

A 2 1/2 week camp program is offered in June. The program is open to all Bowen children, and they are placed in multi-age groupings to explore science, art, and movement in the outdoors. The program runs Monday to Friday, 9:00 – 12:00pm.
3-Day and 5-Day children have the option of staying for lunch bunch with their class once a week (program extends day 1 hour and begins in December or March respectively).
