Your children are thoroughly enjoying learning about the important people in our community. The Bowen Hospital is up and running. Little doctors, nurses and paramedics are working tirelessly to make the baby dolls of Bowen healthy and strong.

We've had lots of discussions of what we want to be when we grow up. As Caroline and I interviewed your children this week, we got a wide variety of answers to the question, "What do you want to be when you grow up?" One of our favorite responses from Ariyan was that he really didn't want to grow up. We hope you enjoy these precious photos!

I wanted to thank all of you for the beautiful birthday flowers and classroom book. The kids made it a very special day and I got lots and lots of extra hugs. Your children bring love and joy into the 3-Day classroom and they make us smile and laugh all morning long. It's so rewarding to see the progress they are making each day as they become little learners in our classroom.

Caroline and I were happy to have the time with all of you prior to our Bowen sing-along with Steve. It was terrific to see so many of you were able to take time from your day for this special Bowen tradition. We were overwhelmed with all the thoughtful gifts, cards and yummy sweets for the upcoming holidays. The 3-Day garland will surely decorate our homes over the holiday, but will end up on the walls of our classroom in the new year. It is such a beautiful keepsake! Bowen is such a special place to work because relationships with families are built through the children as they experience school with a strong connection to home.

We hope all of you have a wonderful break and look forward to seeing you in the New Year!

Karen and Caroline
